Itâs a Portal â And Itâs Already Opening
As we approach the Summer Solstice on June 20, you may feel it in subtle waysâŚ
The restlessness.
The emotional stirring.
The quiet pull to release what no longer fits.Thatâs not coincidence â thatâs the energy shifting.
Because the Solstice isnât just a change in season.
Itâs a sacred threshold.A mirror held up to your soul, asking:
What are you no longer willing to carry?
And what are you finally ready to bloom into? đż
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year, a time when the light is at its peak â both literally and energetically.
It represents illumination, expansion, and becoming.Itâs a portal that invites you to:
- Let go of outdated versions of yourself
- Realign with your truth
- Choose the path that feels most soulfully aliveAnd you donât have to do it all at once.
Over the next few days, let the clarity build slowly.
This is your time to pause, reflect, and prepare.
You donât need a complex ritual â just intention and presence.
Here are a few gentle ways to begin:đŻď¸ Cleanse your space â energetically and emotionally
đ Journal about what you're ready to release
đż Spend time in nature â allow your body to ground into the earth
đŤ Visualize your next season of life â who are you becoming? This is your moment.
Let the light show you the way.
Youâre not alone.
And you donât have to navigate this energy on your own.If youâd like support preparing for this Solstice portal â emotionally, energetically, or somatically â I invite you to explore my 1:1 sessions or join my email list for sacred seasonal guidance.đĽ Healing Sessions + Tools

Thereâs something sacred about full moons.
They ask us to release, to remember, to rise.
This Sagittarius full moonâfiery, truthful, unfilteredâinvites us to burn away the illusion that we must shape-shift to be loved.⨠This is a moon for the cycle breakers.
The ones who carry more than they speak of.
The ones who were taught to be quiet, to be good, to be smaller than their light.
But not anymore. This is a moon for the women who are learning to come home to themselves.
To soften.
To open.
To be fully, fiercely real.
under the light of this full moon,
i release the illusion that i must be anything other than who i am to be loved.
i forgive the stories i inherited.
i honor the little girl who fought so hard for approval.
and now, i return home to myself.
i am safe to live authentically.
i am safe to receive with ease.
i am safe to live in full alignment.
i do not carry the wounds of my mother.
i carry the wisdom of my healing.
i am the one who chose to break the cycle.
and now i rise, radiant, whole and free.
â
May these words be your mirror.
Your reminder.
Your permission slip to live freely, love fully, and rise without apology. đ
What stories about love or worth am I ready to release tonight?
What would it feel like to be fully seen, just as I am?
What ancestral burden am I laying down under this moon?
Speak the affirmation aloud by candlelight
Place your hand on your heart and breathe as you repeat the closing lines
Write a letter to your younger self and burn it (safely) under the moon
⨠If this spoke to your soulâŚ
đŹ Leave a đ in the comments or journal it in your ritual
đĽ Save this post for future full moons
𫶠You are not broken. You are the beginning of your lineageâs healing.

A gentle reminder that your body is not a machine â itâs a sacred messenger.
Have you ever felt completely drained, but somehow still unable to relax?Maybe you find yourself lying in bed, exhausted â yet buzzing with unexplainable tension. Or the smallest decisions feel like mountains. Or maybe⌠you just donât feel anything at all anymore. These are all signs your nervous system is whispering (or maybe shouting):
âI need rest. Not just sleep â true, embodied rest.âLetâs gently explore the signs đď¸
Your body is restless, your thoughts are racing, but your energy is gone.
This often happens when youâre stuck in sympathetic overdrive â the fight-or-flight state.
Even joyful things feel like pressure. Even rest feels like another task.đą Your body is doing its best to protect you â but itâs asking for a reset.
Simple tasks like responding to a message or choosing a meal leave you feeling anxious or frozen.
You might feel like youâre âfailing at life,â but whatâs really happening is nervous system overload.đŹď¸ Your mind may be shouting âjust do it,â while your body is whispering âplease slow down.â
You float in your thoughts, numb to sensation, out of sync with your breath.
This is often a freeze response, your nervous systemâs final protection mode.
You may feel like a ghost in your own life â and it can be scary.đ But this is not the end. Itâs an invitation to return home to yourself.
Rest doesnât have to be complicated.
It begins with small, safe practices that bring your body back into presence:⨠Take 3 slow belly breaths
⨠Place your hand over your heart and say, âI am safe now.â
⨠Walk barefoot in nature, hum softly, or gently tap your arms (Butterfly Hug)The goal isnât perfection â itâs presence.
And your body already knows the way back. đŻď¸

How one simple affirmation can shift your entire nervous system
There was a time in my life when I believed I had to perform for love.
Shrink for safety.
Prove my worth to be seen.It was subtleâwoven into how I overexplained, how I stayed silent, how I ignored the signals of my own body. I didnât yet know that my nervous system was trying to protect me from a life I had outgrown. But healing teaches you this:
You donât need to be chosen by anyone else to belong.
You need only return to yourself.
The affirmation I shared recentlyâ
âI am no longer waiting to be chosen. I am the answer I was searching forâŚâ
âwasnât just a poetic thought. It was a remembrance. A truth my body had been whispering for years. When we stop outsourcing our enoughness, something sacred happens:
Our breath deepens.
Our shoulders drop.
Our energy settles. The need to chase is replaced by the safety of rootedness. You realize you donât have to earn rest.
You donât have to hustle for healing.
You donât have to abandon who you are to feel held.
This isnât just mindset workâitâs somatic.
The part of you that used to reach for attention, for validation, for love⌠may have been born from trauma. From a time when love was conditional. When your truth felt too loud. When your softness wasnât mirrored. But youâre not that version anymore.
Now, you are the one who chooses. You are the one who holds.
You are the one who stays.
âI do not chase love. I remember I am love.
I do not perform for worthinessâI root in it.
I am not behind. I am not broken.
I am becomingâand my becoming is enough.âRepeat it when you forget who you are.
Repeat it when you feel the urge to shrink.
Repeat it when your nervous system needs a gentle hand on the heart.
Healing isnât about becoming someone new. Itâs about remembering who youâve always been beneath the coping, the masks, the noise. And if no one has told you latelyâ
You are not too much.
You are not too late.
You are becoming, beautifully, bravely, and in your own time. And that is enough.
With love and light,

When we think of trauma healing, we often picture confronting our past, unraveling patterns, or managing symptoms like anxiety or depression. But true healing runs deeperâitâs not just about coping. Itâs about remembering who you were before the pain.
This is where your inner child comes in.
Inside each of us lives a younger version of ourselvesâplayful, sensitive, curious, and wildly intuitive. That child may have witnessed chaos. They may have learned to stay small, people-please, or hold in big feelings just to stay safe. And even as adults, their voice still echoes in our nervous system.
The nervous system stores what the mind forgets. If your inner child grew up in an environment where emotions werenât safe, your body learned to tighten:- A lump in your throat when you want to speak
- A pit in your belly when conflict arises
- Numbness or disconnection in moments that require intimacyThese are not flawsâtheyâre protective imprints from a child who adapted to survive.
Releasing isnât abandoning. Itâs the opposite. It means allowing the child within you to:- Finally express what they couldnât
- Cry, yell, dance, or trembleâwithout shame
- Feel safe enough to soften and be heldWhen we release, we let go of the tight grip trauma has had on our body.
When we release, we tell our nervous system: Itâs safe now. Weâre safe now.
There was a time post-divorce where I didnât just feel lostâI felt like I had abandoned myself. But in truth, I had abandoned the child in me who only ever wanted to feel loved without condition. When I began reconnecting to herâthrough somatic breathwork, gentle movement, and voice journalingâmy body stopped bracing for the worst. I stopped performing for love. I began remembering who I was before the pain: wild, radiant, and whole.
Healing your inner child brings you back into your body.
It rewires your nervous system from a fear-based pattern into a trust-based one.
You no longer react from old woundsâyou respond from your power.Because the truth is, healing doesnât come from reliving your trauma.
It comes from releasing the weight your body still carries from it.And that release⌠often starts with a whisper from your inner child.
âI honor the child within me. I create space for her voice, her emotions, and her joy.
She is no longer hidingâshe is coming home.â
When was the first time I felt I had to shrink who I was to be loved?
What would I tell that version of me now, from the safety and wisdom I hold today?
If this speaks to something tender within you, you're not alone.
Healing doesnât have to be harsh or overwhelmingâit can be soft, sacred, and embodied.I offer trauma-informed, heart-led guidance for reconnecting with your inner child, regulating your nervous system, and stepping into your full light.⨠Explore my 1:1 sessions, somatic healing tools, and soulful mentorship at The Healing Sanctuary
